This writer prays that you are praying. I pray that you are praying for protection, strength, discernment, and wisdom as the worst of the Storm is still a funnel cloud on the distance. But, the probability of today's funnel cloud being tomorrow's mushroom cloud is high.
We are entering into a most turbulent and tumultuous time. The seas will rage and ships will sink. The earth will buckle and quake in mid-America as many think about Halloween costumes and trick or treat. I pray that you are praying to be aware. There will be a period of silence before sounds fill the air that will be discordant and yet not as terrible as the odors that will accompany them. A period of relative silence and calm may be upon us this day in July, but don't be lulled into dreamland, for we are being set up for a fall as Fall approaches.
There is no point in getting your house in order as your house may cease to exist. Still, there is good sense in stocking up on non-perishable foods, bottled water, blankets, and a first-aid kit. Matches, flashlights, AA, C, and D batteries, and a battery-powered AM/FM/Shortwave radio are all important and will help you to ride out the Storm as the Riders on the Storm run roughshod on the people of God and on a free-falling nation.
Understand that the growing Storm is multi-faceted; being meteorological, seismic, governmental, oil, terror, militaristic, financial, and spiritual. This Summer is not the Summer of Love, and this Fall will see the free-fall of a nation. Events will be wide-ranging and fast-paced. News reporting will be even more biased and deceptive in the coming months than it is now; but if you loose your electric power, your cable, and your internet - none of this will matter. Now is the time to gather your family, your friends, and your supplies. Now is the time to pray hard. If you have thus far refused the free gift of salvation that only Jesus Christ offers; now is the time to pray and accept Him as your Lord and Savior in faith and in your heart - not just in your head.
Dear Lord - so many reject you. They have heard your story and yet they believe that they are such good people that Your sacrifice and Your gift are not needed to get them into a heaven that they may not believe even exists. As the multi-faceted Storm gains and increases in the coming weeks and months - many of these misguided individuals will die. Please Jesus, appeal to their hearts so at least more will come to the foot of the cross so they may stand at your throne as set-apart and redeemed.
This Storm is a killer and so many are unprepared for the mayhem that is soon to consume us. Please Lord, use us to appeal to them gently yet firmly, so that your message, your truth, your life, and your unfailing love will be accepted and understood by the hard of hearing and the hard of heart. Thank you, Jesus, for loving us and using us as Storm Troopers. Prepare us now to prepare them.
